Driver Unharmed After Car Tumbles Into Western Mass Brook: Fire Officials

A driver avoided getting hurt after their car took a steep dive off a road and into a body of water in Western Massachusetts this week, officials said.

Crews responded for a report of a motor vehicle over an embankment, on its roof and in a brook in Westhampton just after 6:30 on Monday, March 6, Northampton Fire Rescue said on Facebook

Prior to arrival, the driver of the car was able to get out safely and was uninjured, Northampton Fire said. While the vehicle did not appear to be leaking any fluids, the DEP was called as a precaution. No other information was released.
